Year-Round Program

Our unit is involved in at least one event, or campout monthly with many opportunities for youth to partake on other activities through local council programs.

Camping & Events

Troop 17 camps all year long

Patrols usually plan, purchase, and cook their own meals

Two Weeks of Summer Camp in Michigan

High-adventure opportunity

Winter camp (cabin)  in Feb or March

Sept, Oct, Feb/March, April , May & June

Lock-in Gym overnighter in Winter

Merit Badge Programs throughout the year

District Event / Competitions like Klondike Derby & First Aid Meets

Regular Campout / Event Procedures

All planned and voted by youth leadership

Annual planning & scheduling meeting by the Scouts, approved by the Committee.

Transportation needed and provided by PARENTS
